In a world where humans are pray to The Others, Meg Corbyn is a blood prophet escaped from captivity.
Blood prophet are precious and the government will not stop until she’s found.

Eventually trouble comes knocking…
Personal Thoughts:
This is one of those rare cases I finished and enjoyed a book that has very little plot.
80% of this book is about Meg delivering mail and everyone falling in love with her because she’s their first “mail deliverer” that actually does the job.
This author’s writing hypnotized me with a lot of information while nothing was actually happening.
Other readers either loved the writing or hated the “info dump”.
I’m not usually a fan of over descriptive writing but in this case it probably was part of the reason why I didn’t DNF the book.
The details drew me into Meg’s life.
Even so… I still noticed the lack of plot and it bothered me.
I know this is a series but SERIOUSLY…all the action happens only in the last 8 – 10%!
If it wasn’t for the cuteness of a certain little cub at ~60-70% I would’ve probably DNF the book out of boredom.
Would I read the second book?
Probably, but it’ll be a while…
I’m curious but not very excited about it.

Triggers:
Violence, hinted sexual activities but nothing sexually graphic, kind of a Love Triangle.
