Personal Thoughts:
I can’t believe I’m giving such a low rating to a Amy Harmon’s book!
I was so excited about this sequel…
I even waited for my trip in Northern Europe to buy and read the paper copy!
Anyhow…
As usual I really enjoyed Amy Harmon’s writing but the plot disappointed me greatly, expecially the “twist” about Sasha’s past, halfway through the story.
A Tristan & Isolde kind of tale that I couldn’t wait to be over with!
It has never happened before with this author.
I was bored and often bothered by plot and characters.
Such a pity because I was enjoying the story at first and I still enjoyed a lot of exchanges between Kjell and Sasha…
“I saw you,” she whispered, her body quaking and her fingers caressing his face. Kjell leaned in, filling his hands with her hair and his mouth with her kiss.
“I saw you,” he said against her lips. “And I never looked away.”
Unfortunately Amy Harmon’s talented writing wasn’t enough to keep me engaged.
