MILF: Wrong Kind of Love by Erin Noelle
Plot:
At 38, Mia thinks she has her life figured out until she discovers her husband of 22 years has been cheating on her for the last 2. With her best friend.
She has to pick up the pieces and stand aside while the dick she thought she would spend her life with, marries her ex-bff as soon as their divorce is finalized.
Life can give you revenge without planning on it though…
Said ex-friend has a 21 years old son, Grayson.
He’s Mia’s son’s buddy and he hates what his mother did to Mia.
Gray has always had a crush on Mia but, with their kind of age gap and her marital status, he thought that would always remain just a crush.
Actually ending up with a mutual and unstoppable attraction?
Going beyond lust?
He never saw it coming…
FALLING IN LOVE IS QUITE POSSIBLY the strangest, most senseless, overwhelmingly reckless act we as humans do in our lives. It happens so effortlessly, so naturally, that most of the time we don’t mean for it to happen, but once we realize it for what it is, it’s too late to be undone
…and neither did she.
Life does’t always follow plans and intentions and Mia finds herself tangled up in a situation she could never have foreseen.
How will their story unfold?
Personal Thoughts:
Pleasantly surprised by MILF: Wrong Kind of Love by Erin Noelle.
Stories with a significant age-gap can be tricky to read about, expecially when one of the MC has seen the other grow up.
Yep, it can be disturbing.
Here it didn’t bother me much because the connection is genuine and so is the love that these two end up sharing.
The chemistry is off the charts and Gray is sweet, protective and has a filthy mouth on him.
At first I wasn’t exactly happy with Grayson…
I really wished he didn’t cheat on his girlfriend when he was in Spain expecially because the heroine’s husband left her after cheating on her for 2 years.
So…another man that thinks cheating is ok?
Not good.
It doesn’t matter if Greyson didn’t actually love the previous girlfriend.
They were “official” for more than 2 years.
He doesn’t end their relationship and he stays with her after he returns home even if he knows he doesn’t love her.
He uses her.
From experience I can say that if a man thinks cheating is ok for whatever reason…he’ll probably do it again.
Let’s say he’s just a very young college kid experimenting that messes up in order to grow up and be a better man.
I hope.
He definitely treated Mia right and that made me warm up to him and enjoy how their relationship developed.
Sunday morning, I wake early with a restless feeling sitting heavy in my chest. Mia’s sleeping soundly next to me, and for quite some time, I simply lie there and stare at her impeccable beauty. Borderline creepy, but whatever.
Without even realizing when I’m doing it, I find myself softly singing, humming the parts I don’t know, a famous Spanish love song as I stroke her hair across the pillow.
The epilogue was sweet but a bit rushed… I wanted more!
Overall this is a good younger H/ older h romance.
