Plot:
The Grand High Master Vampire’s private army is looking for new soldiers and women have never been selected.
That reality changes when Sam Parker goes beyond any expectation and blows everyone’s mind with the power of her gift.
Jared, a pompous sexist asshole that also happens to be a Commander, isn’t exactly happy about her joining the team.
He’s even more unhappy when The Grand High Master assigns her the position of co-commander in Jared’s squad.
But she’s a tough Lady and she’ll keep the asshole in his place… even if she has a craving only his body can satisfy.

Personal Thoughts:
Sam is an AWESOME kick-ass heroine!!
I’m not really a fan of the sexist jerk that’s the hero…
I love bad boys but sexual chemistry aside, Jared didn’t really “do it” for me…
He waits way too long to dump his little trio of consorts and when he does he’s a jerk expecially to one of the 3, Joy.
I mean… I didn’t like Joy, not even remotely, BUT the girl truly cared for him and he dismisses her like used goods.
At the end of the book, he’s the same sexit jerk we meet at the beginning, the only difference?
He’s finally capable of admitting he’s in love with Sam and they “own” each other.
I really enjoy Suzanne Wright’s writing, she’s a pro at creating MC’s chemistry.
I couldn’t put this book down and I’m really curious about Evan’s story…definitely reading the next book in this series soon!
